Teresa Chrisinger joined TNS in 2003 after graduating with a B.A. from Oregon State University, where she majored in Political Science with a focus on Constitutional Law. Teresa’s practice area focuses on complex litigation in many areas of law, including construction litigation, construction defect claims, business litigation, bankruptcy, and real estate and land use claims.
Teresa is a NFPA Registered Paralegal. Teresa has experience in both state and federal court, including Oregon, Washington, South Dakota, New Mexico, Iowa, Texas, and Michigan. Teresa has assisted attorneys at Tarlow Naito & Summers in all aspects of litigation including conducting research, drafting complaints, answers, motions, discovery documents and correspondence. Teresa also assists our attorneys with all aspects of trial and trial preparation, including acting as “second chair” in a five-week complex-construction-defect trial and several other multiple day trials. She has assisted from start to finish in more than a dozen complex trials during her time with the firm. Her computer and organizational skills enable her to control large volume document production and efficiently manage the cases to which she is assigned.
OUTSIDE THE OFFICE
Teresa is on the board of directors for the Oregon Paralegal Association. When she is not singing, or acting on stage Teresa and her husband can be found with a suitcase in one hand and a passport in the other exploring the globe.
In her, other free time, Teresa volunteers with Adorned in Grace Bridal and Formal, the fundraising arm of a local nonprofit that funds anti-human trafficking work in the Pacific Northwest.
